I didn't grow up as a follower of Christ. But after an encounter with God's love that genuinely altered the course of my life, my whole world began to change. It took some convincing. I didn't believe in myself, and the idea of ministry felt like more than I was qualified for. But the call was real, and in 2010 I went to Bible college and a mission training school and stepped straight into ministry from there.

The years that followed took me into multicultural outreach, church planting, Christian education, media ministry, public evangelism, and discipleship and evangelism schools. Sixteen years of traveling across the US and around the world gave me a perspective I couldn't have gotten any other way, particularly on the struggles our young people face, and on what it actually takes to help people see God in a healthy way and find their place in His mission.

In 2018 God gave me the opportunity to start the CORE Evangelism Training School, and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Watching people move from a struggling faith to being genuinely on fire for God and His church, equipped to preach and serve as ambassadors for Christ, never got old. As CORE winds down its in-person operations in the summer of 2026, the legacy continues here. The same tried and true methods of discipleship and evangelism are being turned into resources that can travel further than any school ever could, equipping members to encounter Christ more deeply and share Him with others through personal Bible study, sermons, and literature.

Everything I've learned over these years has brought me to a conviction about this next season: it's time to slow down and build. The Adventist Church carries the most precious message God has ever entrusted to a movement, and I want to spend the years ahead creating resources that help her reach her full potential in proclaiming it.

I live in Pennsylvania, pastoring two churches alongside my amazing wife Sarah, who is a missionary in her own right (find her at @heyyourebrave on Instagram), and our precious daughter Bella. My girls are my heart and joy, and I genuinely don't know what I'd do without them.
